As a Product Owner (Homeowner & Franchise), you are responsible for defining, prioritising, and delivering the digital products and capabilities that support Landal’s homeowner and franchise ecosystem.

From the Homeowner Portal to owner use rules, settlements, shared ownership, HOA functionalities, and franchise integrations – you ensure that Landal’s core platforms effectively serve both internal teams, property owners, and franchise partners.
Franchise partners leverage Landal’s core technology landscape. You play a key role in ensuring their needs are represented, balanced, and aligned within the broader product ecosystem by working closely with other Product Owners and Business Analysts across domains.

Your work directly drives transparency, consistency, and efficiency across the homeowner and franchise experience.

Product Ownership & Roadmap
•    Define and own the product vision and roadmap for homeowner and franchise-related capabilities;
•    Prioritise backlog items based on business value, dependencies, and strategic objectives;
•    Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform evolution;
•    Align product direction with broader initiatives (e.g. PMS, CRM, finance and digital platforms);
•    Collaborate closely with other Product Owners to ensure cross-domain alignment and consistent prioritisation across Landal’s platforms.

Backlog & Requirement Ownership
•    Own and maintain a clear, prioritised product backlog;
•    Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria;
•    Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure high-quality requirements and readiness for delivery;
•    Ensure alignment of backlog priorities across teams and domains.

Stakeholder Management
•    Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams;
•    Collaborate with Owner Relations, Finance/SSC, Park Operations, Digital teams, vendors, and Franchise stakeholders;
•    Facilitate alignment on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes;
•    Represent homeowner and franchise interests within the broader product landscape;
•    Manage dependencies and competing priorities across teams.

Delivery & Value Realisation
•    Guide development teams during sprint execution, providing direction and clarifications;
•    Validate delivered solutions against business goals and acceptance criteria;
•    Drive UAT and ensure solutions meet expected outcomes (e.g. owner use rules, HOA, shared ownership, franchise capabilities);
•    Monitor adoption, performance, and realised value.

Process & Platform Optimisation
•    Oversee end-to-end homeowner and franchise-related processes across systems such as Maxxton, CRM, financial platforms, and the Homeowner Portal;
•    Identify inefficiencies, risks, and cross-team dependencies;
•    Ensure franchise solutions leverage Landal’s core platforms in a consistent and scalable way;
•    Collaborate with other POs and Business Analysts to drive standardisation and reduce fragmentation.

Data, Compliance & Quality
•    Ensure integrity and consistency of key data (ownership structures, settlements, documents, franchise-related data flows);
•    Safeguard compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements;
•    Collaborate with Finance and Data teams to improve reporting and data quality;
•    Drive transparency in financial and operational flows towards homeowners and franchise partners.

Wie je bent

Requirements of the candidate
• 6–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, or Application Owner in hospitality, leisure, or multi-site operations.
• Proven track record managing guest-facing technologies (e.g., mobile apps, self-service kiosks, digital key access, Wi-Fi, loyalty, or smart room platforms).
• Familiarity with hospitality ecosystems and integrations with PMS, POS, and CRM systems.
• Experience leading Business Analysts and coordinating across multiple technology domains.
• Familiarity of IoT, mobile app ecosystems, and digital guest engagement tools.
• Strong vendor management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Customer-centric, with a passion for enhancing guest experiences through technology.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or German proficiency is advantageous.

What we offer

  • An annual contract with a trial period of one month, whereby we would of course ultimately be happy to employ you permanently;
  • A salary between €4,808 – €6,869 gross per month on a full-time basis*;
  • A bonus scheme;
  • 27 days' holiday for a full-time working week* with the option to purchase 10 additional days off;
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of (partly) working from home;
  • Working from home allowance of €2,45 per home working day;
  • Training and education options;
  • Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this old-age pension is 21.8% of the pension basis, with Landal and you each paying half;
  • Possibility of paid additional maternity and parental leave;
  • Various group insurance policies, including free continuous travel insurance for you and your family;
  • A favorable staff booking scheme.

* A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.

Unfortunately for this position we’re not able to support with a relocation or sponsoring a work visa in the Netherlands. Therefore, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
