Landal Privacy Statement

This privacy statement is intended to inform applicants about the way in which Landal collects and processes applicant data and applies to all recruitment and selection procedures at Landal*. Landal complies with applicable laws and regulations when collecting and processing personal data of applicants, including the Personal Data Protection Act. This privacy statement may be adjusted from time to time to reflect recent developments. You should therefore check this website regularly to stay informed of any changes.

The purposes of collection and processing

The data and documents provided by the applicant, for example on the (digital) application form or via the website, are processed by Landal, among other things, to determine whether the applicant is eligible for a position within Landal. In order to make a proper selection of applicants for the right vacancies, the recruitment and selection process at Landal may consist of comparing the applicant's data with the vacancy(/ies) and the associated qualifications, potentially contacting applicants for further introduction, and, where applicable, contacting specified referees/educational institutions. Additionally, data may be processed to provide information to the relevant applicant about other vacancies for which the applicant might be eligible. Applicant data may also be passed on within Landal to see if an applicant might be eligible for a position other than the one applied for. Furthermore, the data may be used to send general information to the applicant, for example about the Landal organisation and the (operation of) the website. If the applicant gives permission, Landal will pass on the personal data mentioned below to its sister organisation Roompot to see if the applicant is eligible for a position there. For the processing of personal data by Roompot, please refer to Roompot's privacy statement (https://jobs.roompot.nl/privacy/ (https://jobs.roompot.nl/privacy/)). If an applicant is hired, obtained personal data may be further processed for the execution of the employment contract, including the drafting of the employment contract, for administrative purposes, and the introduction of the applicant within the Landal organisation. In this context, the applicant will be given access via his/her email address to an online environment to get to know Landal. This environment is specifically set up for the applicant and also contains the applicant's other personal data. The applicant's personal data is initially collected by the applicant filling in the digital application form. In addition, personal data may also be collected through personal and/or telephone contact with the applicant, referees and/or educational institutions, or the provision of further written information. Data from public sources may also be consulted. For internal applications, use may also be made of personal data already available within Landal.

Which data is processed?

Landal processes personal data that may be relevant to the recruitment and selection procedure. This concerns at least the data provided by the applicant, including name and address details, other contact details, gender, the applicant's date of birth, and any added photo. Furthermore, education, courses followed, internships, and the applicant's employment history may be relevant. A certificate of good conduct may be requested for certain positions. If necessary for the position, applicants may be subjected to a psychological examination or an assessment. In that case, those charged with carrying this out will be provided with the personal data necessary for the purpose of the examination or assessment.

Storage of data

Landal keeps applicant data during and until a maximum of four weeks after the completion of the recruitment and selection procedure.
